Lizabeth Madal
was born in Camden, New Jersey and spent her childhood living on the
East Coast. As a teenager, she relocated to Southern California and
earned a Master of Arts Degree, with Honors from California State
University, Northridge. She later attended the Academy of Art
University in San Francisco, and while living in the Bay Area, began
painting land and seascapes. By 2002, Lizabeth moved to Santa Barbara where she has since made her home. She has exhibited in various shows and galleries in California and became the Artist-in-Residence at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. During this time, Lizabeth had two solo exhibitions at the museum which featured California Central Coast themes.
Today, she
continues to find inspiration in the beauty of California, a
lifetime of coastal living, as well as her travels to Europe.
Currently,
Lizabeth’s work can be seen in Santa Barbara at the
Santa Barbara
Design Center and by appointment. |
